NOOX

NOOX is a micro-living prototype exploring how compact existing spaces can become high-quality homes.

NOOX is a micro-living prototype exploring how compact existing spaces can become high-quality homes.

Developed as both a real rental model and a testing ground, the project treats limited floor area as a design problem that can be solved through precise planning, integrated storage and a careful relationship between private and shared space.

The apartments are organised around the essentials of everyday living, with built-in elements allowing the same area to support different activities across the day. Material choices, furniture and services are considered together so that the interior feels generous despite its compact dimensions.

About the project

About the project

Beyond the individual units, NOOX tests a broader model for accessible urban living based on adaptability, shared resources and straightforward operation. The project uses a small existing footprint to ask how housing can become easier to inhabit, maintain and adapt over time.
