The Vlněna edition treated the festival as an opportunity to test how a short-term cultural event can give an emerging urban location an immediate public life.
Talks, exhibitions, workshops, fashion and social events overlap within a shared spatial framework, turning the site into a temporary platform for Brno’s design community. The architecture supports this intensity through adaptable elements that can host different uses throughout the programme.

The project reflects KOGAA’s wider interest in cultural activation as a tool for reading and testing places before longer-term change is complete. Temporary use becomes a way to introduce new audiences, establish new patterns of occupation and reveal possibilities that permanent development can build on.
